Getting your car serviced is a necessity for your car. Regular Services of your car increases its engines’ efficiency, gives you better mileage and ultimately helps you on saving fuel cost. Another benefit is that it may alert you of a problem that you didn’t realise was there and would save your money from further expenses, for example, you sent your car to service and the service station tells you that your suspension needs to be replaced, you’ll be saving yourself a lot of trouble from the future as suspension will cause further damage to shockers which will cause damage to the tyres. So it is highly suggested to get your car serviced on time
The time interval for getting your car serviced depends on the type of car you have and how much you drive it, for example –
- If you drive your car regularly, your should get your car serviced every 6 months or 5000 kms, whichever is earlier.
- If your car doesn’t run that frequently, you can have your car serviced every 12 months or 10,000 kms, whichever is earlier
- If you have a DIESEL car, it is suggested to get your car serviced on time because diesel engines exert a lot of harmful material and gasses and can even harm the engine if not serviced on time
Although different companies suggest different time or distance interval for servicing, it is better to get your car serviced earlier than that if you want your car to be good as new
